Account and Data Deletion
Last updated: 30 July 2026
KimGoc Company Limited (“KimGoc”, “we”, “us”) lets you request deletion of your in-game account and the personal data we hold about you, in any of our titles, at any time and free of charge. This page explains what to send us, what gets deleted, what we have to keep, and how long it takes.
1. Which apps this covers
This page is the account-deletion channel for every game published by KimGoc Company Limited on the App Store, Google Play and Steam.
Titles with an online account. Two titles create an account on our servers, for online multiplayer and leaderboards. Use the request below to have that account deleted:
- GOC StartUp Fortress —
com.kimgoc.school(App Store, Google Play) - Grid of Change —
com.kimgoc.gridofchange(App Store, Google Play, Steam)
Titles that store data on your device only. The remaining titles have no account and no server-side profile. Everything they save — progress, scores, settings — stays on your device, so uninstalling the app deletes it in full and there is nothing for us to erase:
- G.O.C Hollow Castle —
com.kimgoc.goc - Homestay Zombie —
com.kimgoc.zombie - GOC Unchained Boss —
com.kimgoc.boss - GOC Karate Lumberjack —
com.kimgoc.karate - GOC Snack Tile Bar —
com.kimgoc.snack - GOC Mocktail Maker —
com.kimgoc.cocktail - GOC Gravity Sprinter —
com.kimgoc.gravity - GOC Running Survivor —
com.kimgoc.running - Zombie Clown Trap — Steam
For those titles you may still write to us to delete any support correspondence you have sent, or any data an ad or crash-reporting provider holds against your device identifier — see section 7.
2. How to request deletion
Step 1 — Send a request by email. Write to contact@kimgoc.com with the subject line “Account deletion request”.
Step 2 — Tell us what to delete. Include:
- the game title and the platform you play on (App Store, Google Play or Steam);
- the in-game account name, player ID or nickname (shown in the game’s settings or profile screen);
- the email address linked to the account, if you registered one;
- optionally, an app-store order number for a purchase made in the game — this helps us verify ownership.
Step 3 — Confirm it is your account. We reply from contact@kimgoc.com to verify the
request. We may ask one further question that only the account holder can answer, so that
nobody can delete someone else’s account. If we cannot verify ownership, we will not delete the
data.
Step 4 — We confirm completion. You receive a written confirmation once the deletion is done.
You can also raise the request through the in-game support or contact button where a title offers one; it reaches the same inbox.
3. What we delete
Once the request is verified we permanently delete, for the account named in it:
- the in-game account and its identifiers (player ID, account name, nickname, avatar);
- the email address linked to the account;
- game progress tied to the account: levels, scores, leaderboard entries, in-game currency and items;
- multiplayer profile data and match history;
- device and advertising identifiers linked to the account;
- support correspondence relating to the account, once the case is closed.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Purchased in-game items, currency and progress are lost and cannot be restored or transferred to a new account.
4. What we keep, and for how long
We keep a limited set of records only where the law requires it or where the data can no longer be linked to you:
- Purchase and transaction records — retained for 7 years to meet Hong Kong tax, accounting and audit obligations. These are held by Apple, Google or Steam as the seller of record; we keep only the order reference and amount, not your game account.
- Fraud, abuse and ban records — a hashed identifier may be retained for up to 24 months to stop a banned account being recreated, where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
- Aggregated and anonymised analytics — crash reports and gameplay statistics that carry no identifier and cannot be traced back to you may be retained indefinitely.
- Backups — deleted data can persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after the deletion, then it is overwritten on the normal backup cycle.
5. How long it takes
- We acknowledge every request within 5 business days.
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of us verifying the request, and normally much sooner.
- If a request is unusually complex we will tell you before the 30 days are up, and complete it within a further 30 days at most.
6. Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your account
For GOC StartUp Fortress and Grid of Change, uninstalling removes the local save on your device but leaves the online account on our servers. Use the email request above if you want the account itself removed. For every other title there is no server-side account, so uninstalling is a complete deletion.
Removing an in-app purchase or subscription is handled by the store, not by us — see Apple’s and Google’s own account and purchase settings.
7. Other privacy requests
Besides deletion you may request access to, or correction of, your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw a consent you have given. Send those requests to the same address. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and why.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, write to us and we will delete it without asking for further verification.
8. Contact
- Email — contact@kimgoc.com (the fastest route, and the one we monitor for these requests)
- Phone — +852 9240 4178, Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 19:00 (HKT)
- Post — KimGoc Company Limited, Rm C, 7/F, World Trust Tower, 50 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong, or to your local data protection authority.
